AZ Specialty Art Shows
The Art Show is being run by Richard Bolinski, who can be reached at AZSpecialtyArtShows@cox.net.
CoKoCon and LepreCon are science fiction/fantasy/horror conventions and all art displayed should adhere to that subject matter/theme.
LepreCon 46 will be held on April 10-12. 2020 at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Chandler Golf Resort, formerly known as the San Marcos.
CoKoCon 2020 will be held September 4-7, 2020 at the Doubletree Phoenix Tempe
Art Show Fees
A commission of 15% on all art sales will be donated to the convention.
For sales of multiple prints of artists' more popular works, we will be offering a Print Shop. There is no print shop fee for artists who purchase panel space in the show. If panel space is not purchased, a $5 print shop fee will be charged. An 18% commission will be taken on all print shop sales.
Art for resale must be marked as such and will be allowed only if panel space is available.

Payment for LepreCon 46 must be received by March 27, 2020 in order to gurantee space is available.
Payment for CoKoCon 2020 must be received by August 21, 2020 in order to guarantee space is available.

If you are shipping art to the convention, you must include a prepaid shipping return label. NO EXCEPTIONS! Any unsold work sent without a prepaid shipping return label becomes property of AZ Specialty Art Shows, and will not be returned. We highly recommend insuring your shipped artwork.

Please ship two weeks prior to show, include the appropriate control sheet and make sure bid sheets are attached to art work. Make sure you keep a copy of the control sheet for yourself!
For Artists/Agents who are hanging their own art at the Art Show, setup will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on the Friday of the show. Please contact the Art Show Director if other arrangements need to be made.
Please: No Styrofoam peanuts!
Artwork pickup is on the Sunday after the Art Show closes. All artwork must be picked up no later than 4:30 pm on Sunday. Any art work not picked up on time will become property of AZ Specialty Art Shows unless prior arrangements have been made. Please try to be on time for the pickup as this makes it easier on the art show staff.

Art Show Hours - LepreCon 46
Artists can pick up their art after 2.30pm on Sunday.
The Art Show may be open at additional times as deemed appropriate by the Art Show Director.
CoKoCon 2020 hours have yet to be determined.
Agents and Representatives
Agents and representatives must have a letter of authorization from each artist they represent. This letter must specifically identify the agent and contain a statement transferring responsibility for the artwork to the agent. This document is to be turned into the Art Show with all the rest of the paperwork.
Art from the Art Show that has been purchased through direct sale may be paid for and picked up after the Art Show closes on Monday. Print shop sales will be handled on a cash and carry basis, unless arrangements are made to pick them up with Art Show purchases on Monday.
No smoking, food, drinks, pets, large bags, cameras or photography will be allowed in the Art Show.
All art hung or displayed in the Art Show shall be original work or limited run art prints. Hand colored or Unique Process prints are permitted, but they must be identified as such. Only one copy of a print can be hung.
Photoshop manipulated copies of copyrighted photos are not allowed unless you own the copyright. All art must be finished in an appropriate manner. Hung artwork must be framed or matted with a secure hanging device attached.
The Art Show reserves the right to charge $1.00 per piece that we have to attach a hanging device to for appropriate display.
All Art displayed must not be in violation of Copyright laws. The Art Show reserves the right to remove from display any art that violates Copyright, and reserves the right to notify the Copyright holder of the infringement.
All art work must be identified with the Artist's Name and the Title of the Piece, in case bid sheets become separated from the art. Bid sheets need to be securely affixed in such a manner so that identification of the artist and piece is clearly visible, and it is easy for bidders to access and place bids.
There are a limited number of panels and a limited amount of 3D space available. Availability is on a first come, first served basis. All space will be assigned by the Art Show, and may be reorganized only at the Art Show Director's discretion.
The Art Show has the right to refuse any art that is deemed inappropriate, pornographic or explicit.
Please remember we are a family friendly convention. Art falling into this category will be removed from the show.
Entry fees for art that has been removed from the show are non-refundable. Rule of Thumb: If the art was a movie and would receive an NC-17 (or worse) rating, it runs the risk of being removed from the show. Please contact the Art Show Director with any questions.
Checks will be mailed out 30-45 days after close of show. We will make every effort to get the payments into your hands as quickly as possible.
